OVERVIEW

Mounjaro is an injectable medicine that was first prescribed for type 2 diabetes but has shown promise in supporting weight loss. Mounjaro, also marketed as tirzepatide, is a pharmaceutical that reduces hunger and promotes feelings of fullness by working on the brain. It is a member of the class of medications known as glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonists. Within the first year of using the injectable, the average patient loses a significant amount of weight when combined with exercise and a nutritious diet.

Mounjaro is a weight-loss supplement that is intended to be used in conjunction with a nutritious diet and frequent exercise. It does this by boosting the release of insulin from the pancreas and inhibiting the synthesis of glucagon by activating the body’s GLP-1 receptors. Apart from regulating blood sugar levels, Mounjaro also helps to create or enhance feelings of fullness by delaying stomach emptying and prolonging the feeling of fullness.

How to Use Mounjaro?

Mounjaro is taken by regular injection once weekly, with at least 96 hours or four days between each dose. The injection can be taken on the abdomen (at least two inches away from the belly button), tops of your thighs, or upper arms.
